It said Monday that the changes, which will come into force from April 30, simplify its policy around monitoring devices and "continue to prioritize the privacy" of Airbnb users. Cameras were previously allowed in areas such as hallways and living areas as long as they were disclosed by the property owner. Airbnb also required the cameras to be clearly visible and not located in sleeping areas or bathrooms. Airbnb announced it will ban the use of indoor security cameras in any property listed on its site, and bring in new restrictions on outdoor cameras and noise monitoring devices. "These changes follow extensive consultation with guests, hosts, privacy experts and advocacy groups," Airbnb said in the statement.

An Estonian filmmaker sent Ukrainian soldiers saunas to the front lines, the BBC reported. The saunas are camouflaged and come equipped with showers and washing machines. A Ukrainian commander told the BBC he's grateful for the saunas after grueling days in the trenches. They are camouflaged to protect Ukrainians from Russian fire and also come with showers and washing machines so that soldiers can clean their military uniforms after weeks in the trenches. A former US Securities and Exchange Commission operations center is now a wellness center and spa. The spa's owner, Stephanie Chon, told Insider the renovation was challenging and expensive but fun. One of those is a former US Securities and Exchange Commission operations center in Alexandria, Virginia. The corporate brick building has been transformed into a 100,000-square-foot luxury "immersive wellness retreat" called Balian Springs, which opened last year. Stephanie Chon, who owns Balian Springs, told Insider it was a challenge to transform a "sterile type of building" into "a space where our guests are transported outside of Virginia."
